I'm a Wichita attorney running for district judge. My legal career began as a law clerk for Judge Anthony J. Powell on the Kansas Court of Appeals. Later, I served Sedgwick County as an assistant district attorney and prosecutor. I’m currently the labor and employment attorney for the City of Wichita, and a trusted advisor to public safety leaders and elected officials.

I am the treasurer of my local Rotary Club, overseeing finances and supporting fundraising. I've also volunteered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, helping grant wishes for children facing chronic and terminal illnesses.

I attended the University of Kanas and obtained my law degree from Washburn University.

I've been a Kansan for more than 20 years and a public servant in Wichita since 2014. I'm proud to call this community home because it values hard work, public service, and strong families. It has been an honor to serve the public throughout my legal career, and my family and I are grateful to call Wichita home.

Judges should apply laws, not create them. During my time as a law clerk at the Kansas Court of Appeals, I learned to interpret statutes and constitutional provisions according to their text and original public meaning. My responsibility is to faithfully apply the law as written, remain impartial, and decide each case based on the facts, the evidence, and the governing law.

This approach preserves the separation of powers and ensures that judges do not substitute their own policy preferences for the decisions of the people and their elected representatives. For the people who come before the court, it means every case will be decided fairly, consistently, and according to the law, and not according to who the judge is or what the judge personally believes.

For more than 10 years, I have been dedicated to public service across appellate, criminal, and civil law. My career began with appellate research and writing for the Kansas Court of Appeals. I went on to serve as an assistant district attorney for Sedgwick County. Today, I lead the City of Wichita’s employment practice, where I negotiate with labor unions, ensure due process for public employees, and represent the city in both the boardroom and the hearing room.

My campaign is endorsed by Kansas for Life. Additionally, Sedgwick County Commissioners Pete Meitzner (District #1), Jeff Blubaugh (District #2), and Jim Howell (District #5) have vouched for my experience, professionalism, and commitment to the rule of law.
