How to Vote for Mike Fessinger
In Kansas, district judges are chosen through partisan elections, which means the primary on Aug. 4 is the decisive contest in many races. Here’s everything you need to make your voice heard in the race for District Judge.
Important Dates
- July 14: Primary registration deadline
- July 20: Early in-person voting begins at Election Office, Sedgwick County Extension Office, and Advance Learning Library
- July 28: Early in-person voting begins at additional locations
- Aug. 4: Primary election from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m
- New for 2026: All mail ballots must be received by your county election office by the close of polls on Election Day. Ballots arriving after Election Day will not be counted.

Find Your Polling Place
Your polling place is based on your registered address. Confirm the location through the Sedgwick County Election Office or the Kansas Secretary of State's voter information page. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day.
Advance and Mail Voting
Prefer to vote early? You can vote in person during the advance-voting period or request a mail ballot from the Sedgwick County Election Office. If you vote by mail, return your ballot early. Beginning in 2026, your completed ballot must be received by the close of polls on Election Day to count.
